Eligibility:

  • Students must be first year students in NEUs College of Engineering 
  • Only students who have attended UPLIFT seminars in Fall 2023 are eligible to apply
    • If you attended in-person (virtual or in-person), your attendance has been noted
    • If you watched the recorded presentations asynchronously, please ensure you’ve completed the attendance survey for each video.
  • There are a variety of faculty participating in this program. When you apply, you will be picking your preferred research labs. We will attempt to match you with one of these choices, but this is not guaranteed. Please see below for all faculty participating this semester.

  • Attend at least 3 UPLIFT seminars in the Fall semester prior to application
  • Completed Seminar Selection Survey x3 at minimum
  • Complete Application Survey
    • One short-answer question:

  • Once accepted, we will connect you with your professors
